DESCRIPTION:Libraries have long excelled at bibliometrics. As institutions 
 adopted research management systems\, librarians often participated in 
 selecting and implementing these systems. Building on that success\, 
 universities have increased their focus on demonstrating impact in areas 
 like promotion\, tenure\, research funding\, and recruitment. Librarian 
 expertise remains essential\, especially as the understanding of impact 
 becomes more complex. Panelists will share their perspectives on how they
