• Get tips to establish buy-in and build team driven mentality
• Learn about different personalities to engage more effectively with other people
• Feel confident in establishing boundaries as a supervisor
Jenny Berry ~ Biography
Jenny Berry began working in libraries in 2019. She started her journey as a part-time associate in the children’s department, specializing in storytimes, craft programs, and outreach events. Then transitioned to a full-time associate in the teen and adult department specializing in working with teens, seniors, and outreach events. After working closely as a peer with much of the public services staff for 4 years, Jenny transitioned to manager of the children’s department. Her team had a wonderful mix of staff ranging in creative skills, diverse backgrounds, and longevity with the library. She was featured in the ILA Reporter in June 2024 about establishing Sensory-Friendly Storytimes at the library she works at, which has blossomed from its launch in January 2024, continuing her mission to make the library accessible to everyone within the community.
