Six-time Kansas Notable Award winner Alex Grecian will discuss how he grew up in Kansas and still lives here, yet became a bestselling author by writing about Victorian England before deciding to write about his home state, first with The Saint of Wolves and Butchers, then with his Western-horror books Red Rabbit and Rose of Jericho. His upcoming work is all set in the American Midwest.
Alex Grecian is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of eight novels, as well as novellas, graphic novels, and countless short stories. His books have been translated worldwide. He lives in Kansas with his wife, his son, their dog, and their tarantula.
