Harold Bloom was one of the greatest literary scholars in American history. Bloom produced more than 40 major books of literary criticism and hundreds of articles pertaining to Shakespeare; performance videos; extensive background; research and writing advice; discussion questions; and more reviews, and editorial introductions. Bloom's Literature is the culmination of Chelsea House and Harold Bloom working together for more than 35 years to publish a vast collection of critical volumes, focusing on the writers and works most often studied in high schools and universities.
