Climate Resilience Resources from the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (NNLM) Online
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has a multitude of resources available to assist communities in planning for and responding to extreme heat events. In this webinar, staff from the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) will cover federal data tools that library workers can use to predict and prepare for heat waves. Additionally, attendees will be informed of federal programs and other resources they can share to help mitigate the negative health impacts of extreme weather events. At the end of this webinar, participants will have the knowledge and tools to support their communities before, during, and after extreme heat events.
